I hope you are all keeping well in these strange and unprecedented times, our normal way of life has been radically altered by this global pandemic and we are all having to make adjustments to how we operate in both our personal and business lives.
I have had two exhibitions planned for this year one on Tresco and one at the National Trust's Trelissick gallery in Cornwall, both exhibitions have had to be cancelled due to the circumstances and I apologise to anyone who was looking forward to seeing my work at either of these events. Because the National Trusts staff have been furloughed I have not had any direct communication from them regarding my exhibition at Trelissick, which was due to run from the end of July through August, but I have had to presume that it will not be going ahead this year.
My teaching at the Newlyn School of Art has also been put on hold until further notice, but here there is some more positive news as courses are still being planned for August and September. The Newlyn School of Art has also teamed up with its artist to hold an online auction to both help the school and it's artists, I have 5 recent works included in this online auction, you can help out by placing a bid on anything that takes your fancy!
